Life Care are looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join a brand new Clinical care team, if you are passionate about nursing care and meeting clients ageing care needs this may be the perfect role for you, not only will you have the opportunity to work with clients in a regular basis but assist the Clinical manager in building the right procedures and process to ensure we are meeting all our clinical governance and client requirements

About the role:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting clients in their home environment, assisting with wound and medication management , provide social support, catheter management,  administration of insulin/diabetes management etc.
• Undertaking clinical assessments and making recommendations to support clients clinical care needs in the home.
• Understanding of the Aged Care standards and Clinical Governance
• Strong documentation skills
• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary nursing theory and practice.  

About you

• Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse in a comparable, Aged-Care or Community Setting
• Have a heart for community to support people to embrace life and Live Every Day
• Be available to work in a permanent full-time capacity - Monday to Friday
• Availability to be on the on-call roster for phone support
• Driver's license essential
• Experience using electronic medication management and clinical documentation systems
• AHPRA registration
