About us

Life Care Active is a vibrant and specialised Not For Profit Allied Health and wellness centre for the over 50s. We think we’re the best part of Life Care, one of the true innovators in our sector.

When you join our team, you’ll find yourself surrounded by people who thrive on the variety of challenges our clients present.

From running over 60 exercise classes a week to one-on-one treatments and home visits, from neurological to musculoskeletal to chronic health needs, our clients call on the full capabilities of our multi-D team. It’s this constantly stimulating environment that sees our team really shine.

In this environment, you’ll also be challenged to develop a broader range of clinical reasoning skills; we support each other to grow into better overall Allied Health professionals. Here, there’s no time for boredom or being stuck in a rut; every day brings a new challenge. And the best thing is, we meet those challenges together. We also avoid evening and weekend work (we all work to live, not the other way round).

About You

To be a part of our team, you’ll be a highly motivated, hands-on individual with a genuine commitment to customer service excellence. You’ll have strong hands-on manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills and the ability to prescribe and progress exercises as well as undertake home visits in the community.

You’ll hold a current Physiotherapy registration with AHPRA, love collaborating with our multi-D team and have the interpersonal skills and proactive approach needed for service development.  While collaboration is a big part of how we do things, you’ll also need to be self-directed and work autonomously.

You’ll have a minimum of three years’ clinical experience, and you’ll work alongside exercise physiologists, physiotherapists, massage therapists, OT's, podiatrist and personal trainers.

Salary range between $44.81 - $51.37 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Applications close 12 April 2024.

Lastly, you’ll need evidence of a seasonal flu vaccination, covid-19 vaccination & booster and a relevant NCC police check.
